Responsibilities: I help volunteers set up and keep running open access youth provision. I support the direct delivery/hybrid clubs in Catterick, Colburn, Catterick Village, Richmond, Leyburn, Askrigg, Hawes, Carlton in Coverdale I look after our NYY Buddies in Richmondshire and match them with young people who need a little extra support.
Favourite part of your job: Getting out and meeting new groups, working with them on new projects that give the young people the opportunity to learn new skills.
Hobbies/Interest: I love knitting and sewing and making things for friends and family, each year I do a new Christmas knit gnomes, snowmen, penguins, robins (all with a chocolate orange inside instead of stuffing.
I spend a lot of my time with my family, I especially enjoy spending time with my 2 granddaughters
(my grandson has flown the nest and lives in London so I hardly see him)
